do you turn off your cell phone

I usually do not turn off my cell phone. Why? I have no idea. After reading an article, I seemed to understand a little bit: for that little bit of caring.
I am now sharing this story with you.
The girl would turn her cell phone off and put it by her photo on the desk every night before going to bed. This habit has been with her ever since she bought the phone.
The girl had a very close boyfriend. When they couldn't meet, they would either call or send messages to each other. They both liked this type of communication.
One night, the boy really missed the girl. When he called her however, the girl's cell phone was off because she was already asleep. The next day, the boy asked the girl to leave her cell phone on at night because when he needed to find her and if could not, he would be worried.
From that day forth, the girl began a new habit. Her cell phone never shuts down at night. Because she was afraid that she might not be able to hear the phone ring in her sleep, she tried to stay very alert. As days passed, she became thinner and thinner. Slowly, a gap began to form between them.
The girl wanted to revive their relationship. One night, she called the boy. However what she got was a sweet female voice: "Sorry, the subscriber you dailed is power off."
The girl knew that her love has just been turned off.
After a long time, the girl has a new love. No matter how well they got along, the girl however refused to get married. In the girl's heart, she always remembered that boy's words and the night when that phone was power off.
The girl still keeps the habit of leaving her cell phone on all throughout the night, but not expecting that it'll ring.
One night, the girl fell ill. In moment of fluster, instead of calling her parents, she dialed the new boy's cell phone. The boy was already asleep but his cell phone was still on.
Later, the girl asked the boy: "Why don't you turn your cell phone off at night?"
The boy answered: "I'm afraid that if you need anything at night and aren't able to find me, you'll worry."
The girl finally married the boy.
Later at night, do you turn off your cell phone?

english story

Think of life as a game in which you are playing with five balls in the air.
You name them work, family, health, friends and spirit and you keep all of them in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball.
If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls, family, health, friends and spirit, are made of glasses.
If you drop one of these, they will be broken.
They will never be the same.
You must understand that and try to have balance in your life.
How? Don’t look down on your worth by comparing yourself with others.
It is because we are different and each of us is special. Don’t let other people set goals for you. Only you know what is best for yourself. Don’t give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying. Don’t be afraid to fight difficulties.
It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.
Don’t shut love out of your life by saying it’s impossible.
The quickest way to receive love is to give it; the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly the best way to keep love is to give it wings.
Don’t run through life so fast that you forget not only where you’ve been, but also where you are going. Don’t be afraid to learn.
Knowledge is weightless. It’s a treasure you can always carry easily.
Don’t use time or words carelessly. You can’t get them back.
Life is not a competition, but a trip, step by step.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift: that’s why we call it “the present”.

love and time

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love.
One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed their boats and left. Except for Love.
Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment. When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."
Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered. Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"
Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.
Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that he even forgot to ask the elder’s name . When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way.
Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

about two men

There were once two men, both seriously ill,in the same small room of a hospital. The room had only onewindow.
One of the men was allowed to sit up in bed for an hour in the afternoon. His bed was next to the
window. But the other man had to spend all of his time lying on his back.
Every afternoon when the man next to the window was helped by the nurse to sit up for his hour ,he would pass the time by describing what he could see outside:the window seemed opposite a park wherethere was a lake.
There were ducks and swans swimming in it and children came to feed them bread. There
were flowers and grass.Behind some trees ,there was a fine view of the city skyline.
The man on his back would listen to the other man describe all of this, enjoying every minute.
The other man's descriptions made him feel he could almost see what was happening outside. Then one afternoon,he thought:Why should the man next to the window have the pleasure of seeing what was going on?
Why shouldn't he get the chance? One night, the other man suddenly woke up and coughed
without stopping. His hands reached for the button that that would bring the nurse running to help him.
But the man on his back watched without moving——even when the sound of the other man's breathing stopped.
In the morning ,the nurse found the other man dead, and quietly took his body away.
Then the man asked if he could be changed to the bed next to the window. So they moved him.
The minute they left,he supported himself up on one elbow painfully and looked out of the window.
In faced a blank wall.

the bird

There is a kind of bird who can fly ten thousands of miles across the Pacific Ocean. While what it needs is just a twig. The bird holds a twig in its mouth as it flies. When it feels tired, it drops the twig onto the water, flies down abd rests on it for a while; when hungry, it stands ches fish; when sleepy, it stands on it to sleep.Who can imagine the little bird succeeds in flying across the Pacific Ocean only depending on atwig? If it doesn't hold a twig in its mouth but take all the things needed on its trip such as its nest, food and so on, can the bird fly up?If one blindly asks too much for the conditions to succeed, even the best condition will turn to be his burden like the gold tied to the wings.Succeess is to creat the conditions when needed, just as that kind of bird flies across the Pacific Ocean with atwig to base itself on for survival and flight.

The House of 1000 Mirrors

Long ago in a small, faraway village, there was a place known as the House of 1000 Mirrors.
A small, happy little dog learned of this place and decided to visit.
When he arrived, he hounced happily up the stairs to the doorway of the house.
He looked through the doorway with his ears lifted high and his tail wagging as fast as it could.
To his great surprise, he found himself staring at 1000 other happy little dogs with their tails
wagging just as fast as his.
He smiled a great smile, and was answered with 1000 great smiles just as warm and firendly.
As he left the House, he thought to himself, "This is a wonderful place.
I will come back and visit it often." In this same village, another little dog, who was not quite as happy as the first one,
decided to visit the house.
He slowly climbed the stairs and hung his head low as he looked into the door.
When he saw the 1000 unfriendly looking dogs staring back at him,
he growled at them and was horrified to see 1000 little dogs growling back at him.
As he left, he thought to himself, "That is a horrible place, and I will never go back there again." All the faces in the world are mirrors.
What kind of reflections do you see in the faces of the people you meet?

last weekend

I enjoyed my last weekend. I done a lot of things. On Friday, I went to London by train. When I reached my home is 20 o’clock and my sister waited for me to make dumplings. So we had dinner at 22 o’clock. On Saturday, I got up about 11 o’clock. Then I went up China town and saw my friends. We had lunch together, then we walked to Oxford Street to shopping which is a popular street for shopping, but it’s far from China town. So when I arrived at 22 o’clock, I was feeling very tired, so I went to bed at 11 o’clock. On Sunday, I wake up at 14 o’clock, I done my homework, and read book which a book talk about vampire. Then I came back at 20:30.It’s a special weekend for me. Because I saw a friend who is my best friend in my high school and we have not seen each other for one year.
